Friendly fire implies you KNOW there are friends around!
[He just attacked someone who might've been sneaking up on him! Which yeah, could be considered friendly fire in the eyes of the almost-blasted, but not in the eyes of the one who had zero idea! Katsuki narrows his eyes at Izuku's hands, noting the talons and the markings on his skin. He's not at all convinced this is the real Izuku, but rather a conjuration designed to get him to lower his guard or make a mistake. Which would also eschew him from that friendly fire blame since he attacked a FAKE! See? Record is still perfect.
Yeah well a distinct lack doesn't mean stark naked. But even if the lower half is a bunch of tentacles, if a hero walked out in naught but belt, shoulder guard, and bracers, most people would still shield their eyes and yell about putting some clothes on, you naked pervert. Or the like. Katsuki shakes himself out of the thoughts, focusing back on Izuku rather than the memory playing out behind him in a loop. Ignoring the words as well, because those are getting really annoying really quickly...]
No. That was at the end of middle school. [His voice is steady and irritated, like he's annoying he has to correct Izuku about this memory again. He isn't convinced this is really Izuku, even if the mental scene should be familiar to both of them. So he's going to try and goad this person into a trap, see if the fake Izuku can be tricked into outing himself as a fake. What better way than to mess with the details and check. He narrows his eyes at the "proof" comment, and Izuku noting they were supposed to be fighting. Tch, okay that's a correct detail...] No one said shit about going overboard.
