Yep, only outside. After your time, people found out how bad smoking is for you, it causes cancer and all that, and even inhaling someone else's smoke isn't good. It's called second-hand smoke. So to make it safer for people who choose not to smoke, smokers have to do it outside where it won't be all up in someone else's lungs.
