2. Smaller items like shells or non-precious stones will not be converted! As a rule of thumb any "small/low quality" item should come out the same as you got it inside. Anything else will be converted to credits unless otherwise noted. Once in the game you can purchase any of those items through AC rewards, though! So if Akira wants to farm credits by trying to bring out higher quality items he absolutely can. Or he can form a collection of seashells and rocks if that's what he's going for. The jellyfish in District 1 like receiving both of those things as presents.
