It’s SO cool! [Honestly, how could it not be cool? Turning into a giant tiger or just parts to do feats of super strength when you need to? How many times would being able to smash or jump his way out of something would that have come in handy for Sora? Way too many to recount. But..How do you forget something like that? Then again, his own childhood friend had forgotten she was a princess and he forgot that he’d met a bunch of people that had changed the course of his life completely so, Sora had to suppose that these things just happened sometimes.] Guess that means you’ve got a pretty big clothing bill, huh? Or a huge closet. [He added, teasing Atsushi lightly about the unfortunate downside of his abilities.]
Well…[Sora started as he thought about it for a moment or two while idly scratching at the side of a cheek as he did so.] Sort of? They were pretty friendly to other merfolks, even if they didn’t know them…Um…They were pretty scared of normal people though. I think because they were afraid of being attacked or because of people destroying the coral and stuff? I’m not really sure. We didn’t really want them to realize we weren’t merfolks too so I couldn’t really ask.
Oh! But my friend was really kind and she wasn’t scared of normal people at all! She really wanted to meet them and stuff. [And did plus so much more but that was a conversation for another time.] These guys are…There’s something wrong with them. That’s not just me, right? There’s actually something wrong with them.
[Once more Sora thought about it for a second or two before he shrugged his shoulders cluelessly.] Nope, but someone here’s got to know what’s happening and if they don’t maybe we try up there? See if someone there can help? [He said as he pointed to the very deep water above them but clearly meant the surface, if there was one and if there were people around to ask. He was working a lot off of gut feeling more than actual knowledge.]
Maybe there’s some horrible Sea Witch we have to talk to and do something for…Not that I’m at all saying that we should. Sea Witches are probably bad news here too. [And no, he doesn’t further elaborate on that as he swims over to a stall to see if anyone around it will actually talk with them like a normal person would.]
