[It is the first time someone sees such a positive reaction to Atsushi's ability, and it's not because they want to capture him and use him for their own gain, like those crazy americans did.
This is new, this is genuine curiosity about him, and he can't help but be a little infected with the joy that seems to spark right out of Sora.]

Ah, you think? I don't know, I never saw it as really cool, but .. it certainly comes in handy in my world, that's for sure.
[even though it has also been the cause of many of his troubles in his world, but he is not going to say that now.]
Ah .. so apparently I could do it for a while, but, I, uh, kind of forgot. At least I didn't know until I ... until recently, when I turned 18, and now I can also finally control it.
So basically it depends on what I need. If I need to jump super high and punch someone for example, I focus on my legs and arms and collect my strength there, and they just turn into these huge tiger legs and paws, with claws and all, and I get super strong then. And the tail .. well, it comes right out of my tailbone, I guess?
The only downside is that that I go through quite a lot of shirts and pants over time, especially when I full on transform into a giant white tiger, which is basically my final form.

[Again, he laughs a little awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. He isn't used to talking this much about himself, nor someone even being remotely interested in what he has to say in the first place.]

But you have met merpeople before, that is so cool! Like real ones, that actually talk to you! I didn't think that they would actually exist!
And I really hope that they were a lot nicer than these ones here, though that's hardly a challenge.

[Another awkward laugh, and Atsushi takes a look around]

I sure hope that mermaid skin is different to regular skin and that we won't get all wrinkly while staying in the water.
But do you have any idea how to get our legs back? I wouldn't even know if we needed to talk to any of the merfolks here, or rather search for someone on the surface to help?
