[gold-purple eyes stare curiously at Sora, because while Atsushi has seen a lot of strange things in his life, an actual mermaid hasn't been among these things. ... until today, of course.]

Yeah, I know what you mean, [he shudders a little as he looks at his own mark] and i don't know, you are the first one I am seeing with a similar mark on them, so I didn't have a chance to ask yet.
I don't think any of these singing folks do have one?

[A quick look around seems to provide them with only blank faces staring at them, and no visible marks on any of these weird shadows of people around them.]

I am not sure if any of these will give us any answers either though. They don't even seem to listen properly ..

[Atsushi swims over to one of the merfolks seemingly caught in a repeptitive movement of plucking seaweed. Funny enough it seems to be the same piece of seaweed every time, which seems to instantly regrow]

Uhm, excuse me? I have a question?

[He gets ignored however, the mermaid only smiling serenely with empty eyes while still plucking the seaweed and filling her basket which doesn't seem to grow in contents either.]

Yeah no, this is totally pointless.
