[The newcomer doesn't seem to be a man of many words, and Moran can appreciate it, given the circumstances. In moments like these, a small distraction can mean the difference between living and dying, and since Moran doesn't know what happens in this world if he dies, he is not too keen on finding it out right about now.

But he hears the other yelling to get to the crow's nest, and damn, that's something he should've thought about earlier.]

"Got it!"

[He doesn't need to say more, instead he makes sure that the other man is already turned and on his way before he kicks the last sea creature right against its chin, making it stumble back and fall back into the sea from where it came.
He kind of hopes that it might stay there, but he highly doubts it.

Then he turns around and while making haste to get to the main mast, he reaches for the abandoned musket, leaning against one of the many crates on board. That's what his trusted rifle turned into when he showed up here, and with the monsters being so close, there was no point in even trying to use it, but from the crow's nest? That would be perfect for some target practice and give him enough time to reload.

It takes him a moment to get used to climbing with his hook instead of his hand, but it works, almost as if he's been doing this all his life and just hadn't done it in a while. These implanted memories sure come in handy when entering these strange scenarios.

Even with the two of them having to climb one after the other they are still faster than the creatures that follow them, and Moran sends a few of them back down with some well aimed kicks, taking a few more with them on their way down.
The crow's nest is small, but there's enough room for the two to aim and reload without being in each other's way.
And damn, the view is basically perfect.]

"Yeah, that's more like it,"

[He grins and slides the musket from his shoulder to aim and send another creature to its early grave - or whatever happens to undead creatures once they die for good - with a well aimed shot.]
