It's so sudden- water rushes to fill his mouth, and his first instinct is to struggle. He doesn't understand why he's here, or how he's here, but he's drowning and that's the most important thing happening right now!

He grabs onto Izuku blindly when he feels himself taken hold of by many limbs, and yet soon enough he's breaking the surface of the water, coughing and spluttering in a most undignified way as he wipes his hair out of his face and cracks his eyes open.

"What-" He's too busy coughing to make words happen, give him a moment. He eventually takes a few gulps of air in and squints at his saviour.

"Where am I?"
