He was GOING to give the guy a strange look for being gun-ignorant in a world where technology could control the freaking weather! ... But then the last part comes out and Bakugo's stupefied irritation smooths off into a blase "oh" expression. Once you start "magic runs shit" in any world, the rules basically go out the damn window.
"So no guns, just shooting out magic bolts from your hands." Wow, that's such a great pacifistic route of technology. Though this guy likely doesn't have those kinds of spells, if he's as peace loving as he says.
"What're your buildings like? Metal and glass with machines, or rock and wood with pulleys?" Probably neither due to the magic, but he's just getting an idea of the other's world.
