[The more Momo tunes in to the director's insistent monologuing, the more he's inclined to agree with that assumption. There's a lot of flowery description of character archetypes and artistry and what they're trying to achieve with the entire narrative, but not much in the way of direction, or how to get there - he's heard Yuki remark on directors behaving like that often enough before to know it's not uncommon. Momo usually prefers a clearer concept, but Yuki, dyed-in-the-wool artist that he is, usually does perfectly well with even the most esoteric of descriptions (as much as he might complain in private).
Rubbing a hand through the back of his hair, Momo re-reads the page of the script he's on in a little more detail. It looks like some kind of take on The Little Mermaid - possibly with some dramatic, complicated history between the mermaid and the sea witch, if the lines he's on are any indication.]
I guess? Either that or he's got some "vision" but it's not something he can put into simple words, which means it's probably gonna be a bit of trial-and-error to actually figure out what he wants. My darling works with directors like that pretty often.
[That light amusement is still lingering around Momo's tone, because while it can be a bit frustrating for some, he doesn't mind an excuse to go a little wild with the script until he gets clearer instruction.]
